Born in the US, family is from China. Now I realize mom was right, I should have studied more Chinese when I was young. So, better late than never lol.. I spent 2008 in Beijing, teaching and studying at Tsinghua University School of Law, and it was best time of my life.. I started my legal career as a juvenile defense attorney with the Bronx Legal Aid Office in New York, and have since spent over 8 years practicing immigration law.. Ellie Hassani, Esq was born and raised in Iran. After graduating from high school, she participated in the University Entrance Exam (Konkur), ranked 344 among thousands of examinees, attended law school, and obtained her Bachelor of Law degree in 2009. She then continued her education, ranked 63 among numerous examinees, and obtained a Master’s degree in Criminal Law and Criminology. She successfully passed the bar exam and practiced law for several years before moving to the United States in 2017. She took the LSAT exam in 2018 in the U.S. and subsequently was admitted to Appalachian School of Law (ASL) in Virginia in 2020 for a Juris Doctor (JD) program where she received Dean Scholarship due to excellent academic performance.. While at ASL, she interned for the Honorable Justice Cleo E. Powell at the Supreme Court of Virginia. When she was at ASL, she met her husband Ryan who is from Charleston, West Virginia. After graduation, Ellie moved to Charleston to live with Ryan and their lovely dog Rosie. She successfully passed the bar exam and began practicing law. Although Ellie is licensed in Washington, D.C. and West Virginia, she is authorized to practice immigration law in all 50 states.

Rob graduated law school from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2013. While in law school, Rob was a student attorney, research assistant, and clinic coordinator in the Immigration Clinic at the University of Arkansas School of Law Legal Clinic. After law school, Rob started and managed the immigration practice at Joyce Law Firm and decided to start his own practice in 2016. Rob went to law school knowing he wanted to practice immigration law. His mom was born and raised in Guatemala. She immigrated to the United States as a teenager and is now a U.S. citizen. Unfortunately, Rob was unable to see his grandmother from Guatemala for almost 20 years despite having used multiple immigration attorneys and decided to treat clients the way he would want his grandmother treated. Rob and his wife Robin have been residents of Springdale, Arkansas since 2010. They have two children and three dogs. Rob and his family enjoy the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football team.
