He gained experience in trademark and IP law while working at a start-up developing a dating app for dog lovers, gained public interest legal experience working for Community Legal Aid and Greater Boston Legal Services while serving his Cantonese Chinese community, and clerked at the Law Offices of Robert W. Joyce in Newton, MA, gaining experience in real estate and trusts & estates law. He also briefly worked for Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster as a legal intern in the tax department prior to the pandemic..
