Rob Beard was raised in Augusta, Arkansas and is a graduate of Augusta High School.  He completed his B.A. at Henderson State Univeristy in 1999.  Rob went on to graduate with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law.  While attending law school, Rob served as Assistant Managing Editor of the UALR Law Reviewand was Vice President of the Student Bar Association.. Mike Rainwater was born and raised in North Little Rock, Arkansas and is a graduate of North Little Rock High School.  He obtained his undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University in 1972, and went on to graduate from the South Texas College of Law in 1979.  While attending law school, Mike was a member of Phi Alpha Delta.. Mike lives in Little Rock with his wife.  They have three sons, one of whom is in practice with Mike at Rainwater, Holt & Sexton.  He loves Razorback football and enjoys cattle farming and golf.

Tim Reed was born in southeast Arkansas and did a lot of growing up in the delta. Before concluding grade school, he moved to central Arkansas and has lived there since. While in law school, during his second year, Tim was fortunate enough to land a job at one of Arkansas’s leading personal injury law firms, the Duncan Firm. He worked there as a law clerk until he graduated law school in 2012 and continued working there as an attorney thereafter, rubbing elbows with the best and honing his skills as a trial lawyer.. Working as a member of the Prosecuting Attorney’s office in Sebastian County, AR and then later in Pulaski County, I had great passion for the victims I represented, whose lives had been shattered by the criminal act of another person. I realized I might not be able to return their lives to normal, but I could help them find some amount of Justice in the face of great loss. It’s very easy to be passionate about your work, when you are working to make someone whole again.

I am thankful to have a job that gives me the chance to learn something new every single day, whether its new medical terminology for a medical malpractice, wrongful death, or personal injury case, a new discovery method I can utilize, or new case law or a statutory amendment that will be crucial for me to know and apply in my daily practice.. I enjoy meeting and working with new clients, and reconnecting with former clients.  When a person’s life intersects with that of an attorney, it’s usually not pleasant.  In my practice, I am typically meeting someone due to a traumatic event that has or is occurring in that person’s life—a divorce, an injury, an unexpected death..
