I joined Burch & Cracchiolo in 2000 as a shareholder after practicing for sixteen years at Horne, Bistrow & Dulberg P.C. Before I moved to Arizona in 1984, I served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office from 1978-1984, where I tried more than forty felony cases. Since 1984, my practice has concentrated on construction law and commercial litigation - focusing primarily on helping clients resolve disputes that typically arise out of construction projects. I have represented the entire gamut within the construction industry, from property owners to design professionals, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers. I've successfully defended a $22 Million claim against a pipe manufacturer, successfully defended a $50 Million negligence claim against an international engineering firm, and I've been involved in drafting and negotiating construction contracts from small residential projects to $40 Million commercial projects. Francis "Buzz" Slavin practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate, contracts and agreements, condemnation/eminent domain, land use law and real estate development. He holds both an undergraduate and J.D. degree from the University of Cincinnati. He was admitted to the Bar in Ohio in 1968 and in Arizona in 1972 and is currently a member of both State Bar Associations. He is an AV Rated lawyer for over 25 years.. In addition he has been a member of the Real Estate and Construction Law Sections.. Mr. Slavin is a member of the Order of the Coif and Phi Delta Phi. He is the author of Construction Law and Mechanics’ Liens in Arizona, published annually by Professional Educational Systems, Inc. (1980-2006). He served as Judge Pro Tempore, Superior Court of Arizona in the County of Maricopa from 1980-1990. From 1981-1989 he was a member of the City of Phoenix Zoning Ordinance Revision Committee.

Mr. Wittwer is a Member of The Cavanagh Law Firm.  Mr. Wittwer’s practice focuses on analysis and litigation of complex matters involving insurance coverage, bad faith claims handling and punitive damages, cybersecurity and professional liability.  Mr. Wittwer has handled a wide range of complex insurance matters involving both personal lines and commercial lines, including cyber insurance, general liability, automobile, property, life, disability, homeowners, workers’ compensation, professional liability, directors and officers, surplus lines, and excess/umbrella coverages.  Mr. Wittwer was recognized by Southwest Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2013 to 2017.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel.  Mr. Wittwer is the 2017-2018 Chair of the Arizona State Bar’s Technology Advisory Group, teaching and assisting other lawyers about best practices for data security and privacy, cyber insurance, cloud computing and e-discovery.. I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama graduating from Homewood High School.  After high school I continued my education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham on a Green and Gold Scholarship.  After obtaining a B.S. in Accounting I attended Ole Miss Law School graduating in 2009.  I have been handling personal injury cases including construction defect, toxic mold and car wrecks since I obtained my law degree and focus my practice on construction related issue.

My name is Kalyn Behnke. I graduated from Sandra Day O' Connor College of Law in 2018. I had an "A-" average and was in the top 30% of my class. After passing the bar exam and becoming licensed, I obtained a position at the Attorney General's Office. I am now an Assistant Attorney General in the Transportation Section of the Attorney General's Office. My primary specialization is condemnation. My secondary specialization is environmental law, particularly NEPA and other environmental issues related to construction.
