J. Michael West, Esq., is currently senior staff attorney with the Chicago firm of Broderick, Steiger and Maisel. Soon after graduating from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1983, Mr. West took employment as a first assistant state’s attorney.   Mr. West prosecuted People v.
