Practice Areas: Litigation
My practice concentrates primarily on civil litigation matters, including construction defect litigation, mold litigation, and community association law. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1991 and a Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in 1995. Prior to beginning my legal career, I wrote several legislative update articles as a research assistant for a bipartisan public policy-making organization near Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.. I have worked on a number of multi-million dollar complex litigation matters in the past, including disputes involving product liability, fraud/misrepresentation issues and residential construction defects. I am active in several trade organizations including Community Association Institute’s (CAI) Sacramento and Orange County chapters and California Association of Community Managers (CACM). I have published articles on construction defect and community association issues and frequently give legal seminars on various topics. I handle construction defect litigation matters for our San Diego and Sacramento office and all point in between. Away from the office, I enjoy golf, music, spending time with my wife Mirja, family and friends, and raising my son, Benjamin.
