Firm: Law Offices of Jeff Voll
959 E. Colorado Blvd. , Pasadena , California 91106
Practice Areas: Criminal Defense, DUI & DWI, Violent Crime
Jeff Voll is a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who only practices criminal defense law. He has never been employed as a prosecutor and he has certainly never been a cop. The Criminal Defense Law Firm of Jeff Voll has defended hundreds of clients (peace officers included) accused of violating the criminal laws of California. He offers experienced and aggressive criminal defense representation in all areas of criminal defense law throughout the Los Angeles County Courts.. If you find a criminal defense attorney who has better results than what's listed on my Results Page then hire them and not me.. If you take any information from these pages as truth please understand and believe that I was arrested (kidnapped by the Federal Government) on June 16, 2017, handcuffed (assault and battered), transported (victim of human trafficking) across State lines from California to Nevada and held against my will (falsely imprisoned) by The Department of Homeland Security, The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and The United States Attorney's Office in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was intentionally and falsely “charged” with violating the Racketeering and Corruption Act (RICO) and faced a Life in Prison sentence based on United States Government created and sponsored lies and fabrications.. I am a free man today and will always be a free man/attorney until the day I die. If I can beat my own Life in Prison case, you can certainly be assured that no one will fight harder for your freedom against any charges levied against you with me as your criminal defense attorney. The Government assumed I would be a rat. They assumed I would corroborate the Government created falsities mimicked by other weaker men to fast track their way out of jail. The Government was wrong. I was placed in the SHU (secured housing unit) at Metropolitan Detention Center for 6 days before being trafficked to the Nevada Southern Detention Center in Pahrump, Nevada. The Government thought that because I was a licensed Attorney, that they would turn me into a Chivato. I held fast and strong and gave Uncle Sam, his lying "special agents," and Federal prosecutors who criminally conspired to further their intentionally false narrative the finger while telling my attorney that I am Ready for Jury Trial. No deals. No signing for my freedom.. Over 21 years successfully defending the rights of the accused.. And, I am THE ONLY California Criminal Defense attorney who can truthfully state that I was successful in defending and achieving OVER 100 criminal cases Completely Dismissed in one 12 month period.. God has blessed me with a profession where I can be of service to people, where I can fight injustice, where I can help those in need of legal services, where I can look for alternatives. I ask God for help with all my cases and walk into a courtroom after praying for God's wisdom and assistance. God has been good to us.. I have had the honor of practicing law in the Los Angeles area and surrounding Southern California counties for over 41 years and in those years, God has allowed me to be recognized as having the highest rating in legal abilities and ethical standards, God has allowed me to be listed in the top 1 % in the nation in some areas, to be listed Best in Glendale in Client Satisfaction. to be listed as a Superlawyer, a Top Lawyer, a Top Attorney, a Superb attorney, a Distinguished attorney, to be listed in America's Most Honored Professionals. I am fluent in English and Spanish. Nobody fights harder for you than I do. My business hours are extremely flexible. My practice areas are criminal defense, family law, personal injury, civil litigation, real estate. I am a litigator and do jury trials. I am a people's lawyer. I work for you and don't forget you are my boss. I consider myself to be a no non-sense, practical person. My client's interests and protection are first and foremost. I demand honesty from my clients. I try to protect my clients from themselves and unnecessary attorney bills when they take positions that are contrary to law. An ounce of preventive legal action can prevent litigation. An ounce of common sense and practicality can minimize the cost of litigation. As an attorney, if I protect my clients well and at the same time save them emotional distress and money, my interests will be served as well. I am a hard working attorney. I believe that good lresults are a residue of hard work and artful preparation of any case but never forget God from the picture. I do a lot of pro bono work in the appropriate cases. I do a pro bono bible centered life group meeting every week for clients and friends to help them with their emotional and spiritual issues. I believe the judicial system works. Truth and justice usually prevail at the end. The above does not mean that you must pay an arm and leg for legal services. I encourage meetings, mediation, arbitration and other avenues to shortcut the process and resolve the disputes, if at all possible. However, if unsuccessful, I am a formidable opponent at trial. I am a tiger in the courtroom. I have successfully handled all types of criminal cases, including murder, felonies, burglaries, white collar crimes, narcotic offenses, domestic violence, DUI, assault and battery, and just about anything else. I have seen miracles in difficult cases where I have no explanation and where I can not take credit for the results.. In family law cases, I have successfully handled big asset divorces. In most cases, there should be no contested child custody disputes but the emotions of the parties create and fuel the dispute in most of the cases. Parents often fail to take into consideration the best interests of the children first and foremost. In those cases, child custody mediations can be useful. There should be almost no contested property division, the parties are entitled to one half of the assets and debts of the marriage. However, concealing of assets is very common, refusal to share information is common and a declaration of war takes place almost in every case related to alimony and child support. If there is domestic violence, restraining orders are obtained. If there are violation of orders, contempt proceedings can be filed. However, if both parties are attempting to do what is right, there is no need for Orders to Show Cause and divorces can proceed in a friendly manner. This means substantial savings in attorneys fees. There is so much needless litigation in divorce cases that can be avoided and most of it can be prevented if you lower the animosity and level of emotional distress between the parties. Finally, if you are not happy with your attorney, or are not getting the answers or results you want, you have the right to change attorneys.. In personal injury cases, I have successfully handled severe injury and death cases resulting from auto vs. auto accidents, slip and fall accidents, bicycle accidents, auto vs. train collisions, premises liability disputes and just about all litigation related thereto. God has blessed my clients with multimillion dollar jury verdicts in difficult cases and I am a member of the Million Dollar Advocate Forum and qualify for the Multi Million Dollar Advocate Forum as well. I handle personal injury cases on a contingency fee basis. In severe injury/death cases, my fees start only at 25 % which is lower than the norm. I also handle real estate disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, collection cases, business disputes and much more. I do not handle cases I am not equipped to handle. If I can't help you, I’ll help you locate the right attorney for you.

Oscar A. Ischiu is the founder and principal attorney at The Law Firm of Oscar A. Ischiu, Esq., serving clients throughout Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, and international family law. Learn more about Oscar below. If you are in need of legal services in Southern California, give us a call for a free consultation over the phone or at our offices in West Covina, Ontario or Monrovia.. I attended the University of California Riverside and studied biochemistry. During that time, I discovered my love and passion for law. However, after graduating from UCR, I was not able to afford law school and viewed becoming a lawyer as a distant, impossible dream. Thus, life took me in a different direction: I started my own trucking company in 2011, hiring drivers, being personally involved with shop maintenance, and working hard around the clock. Then in 2015 my life became a nightmare. Freight rates hit a record low, and I found myself fighting for the life of my business. I was barely able to survive, at times literally counting pennies to see whether I could afford a morning cup of coffee, all the while working a grueling 60 hour work week, and not getting paid, myself. I was working just for the survival of my business. Throughout this entire odyssey, I never gave up on my dream of becoming an attorney, but going to law school seemed like an unattainable fantasy. Over the course of many difficult months, I managed to save my business, and it was at that point that I made the decision to go to law school, no matter what. I knew that the time was right for me to pursue my dream.. I attended law school at Pacific Coast University School of Law. I believed that this was my last opportunity to become a lawyer, and I was incredibly grateful for the chance. While attending law school, I worked a 40 hour work week and went to school at night. During that time, I helped many classmates who were struggling. I held weekend classes and also tutored individual students out of the kindness of my heart. I simply wanted us all to pass the program, which we did. I am proud to say that I finished at the top of my class as Valedictorian.. I then began to prepare to take the California bar exam, arguable one of the most difficult in the entire country. For four months I worked diligently to prepare, going to work at 5:00 am, working until 2:00 and then studying until 11:00 at night. Discipline at its finest. My hard work paid off, and I passed the bar exam the first time I took it, which is very unusual, as most people who take it fail the first time.. Why is this relevant? I know that I am an extremely disciplined, determined, hard working individual, and I will defend and fight for my clients with the same passion with which I pursued my dream.

I began working at small, longstanding Sonoma County criminal defense office in 2002 when I was only sixteen. Since I can remember, I had dreamed of becoming a criminal defense attorney and wanted to protect individual’s rights while making a stand for justice. I eventually finished my undergraduate schooling and while continuing to work closely with several established attorneys, I started law school. Growing up in a criminal defense law office allowed me to learn the ins and outs of criminal law, both in theory and in practical application.. I was certified as a law clerk with the California State Bar in 2008, which enabled me to start practicing law under supervision. I graduated law school in 2010 and was awarded the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence. I passed my bar on my first attempt and was then I was admitted to the State Bar of California in early 2011.. I advanced to a successful practicing attorney while working for that same law office, and then following several years of experience, education, and training in that setting, I opened my own law office in Santa Rosa dedicated to intelligent and zealous criminal defense advocacy, and focused on providing excellent legal services to clients.. Since being admitted to the bar, I have successfully handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases of all sorts, and for all sorts of clients. I am particularly versed in the realm of DUIs and medical marijuana laws. I have worked on cases ranging from simple offenses to attempted homicides, sex offenses, complex drug cases, and environmental law cases.

In a stunning defeat for the United States Attorney’s Office, after a ten-week jury trial where the government called 41 witnesses to the stand, it took less than twelve hours for jurors to return not guilty verdicts on all counts for a CEO of a prominent engineering firm in Honolulu. The United States Attorney’s Office sought to portray campaign donations to the Honolulu prosecutor’s office as bribes. Nina Marino, argued to the contrary, persuasively demonstrating day after day the lack of evidence to substantiate the charges and that the campaign donations were just that: campaign donations and not bribes.. Dismissal of Workers Compensation Fraud Case. Secured the complete dismissal of workers comp fraud case filed against an attorney charged in an illegal referral and kickbacks scheme. Over the course of more than six years, Marino challenged by demurrer each charging instrument and succeeded, leaving the District Attorney with little choice other than to recharge using a different mechanism. Probation granted for husband and wife who failed to file and pay taxes for more than 6 years despite living a lavish lifestyle and receiving countless notices. Probation Granted in 39 Count Felony Complaint. Probation granted to tech startup consultant who was charged in a 39 Count felony criminal complaint with defrauding four start up executives by receiving payment for consulting and not providing services. The client was also charged with multiple counts of false personation and an aggravated white collar crime enhancement which mandates a state prison sentence. Marino filed a demurrer to the criminal complaint which resulted in the dismissal of the allegations made by one of the four victims. Marino then focused on the work product performed by her client. Marino was able to establish that two of the remaining three purported victims received work product for their payment to the client opening the door for Marino to negotiate a resolution where the client would pay restitution only to the remaining purported victim, his felony plea to a single count was reduced to a misdemeanor and dismissed in a single day leaving him with no criminal record.. Probation Granted for Federal Charge. Probation granted for family of restauranteurs charged federally with failure to pay taxes. All told there were six members accused.
