It also involves protecting people from workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage theft, and labor code violations. And it involves taking action whenever a fired employee could potentially have been the victim of a workplace injury, or suffered an illness or disability based on chemical exposure or other hazards in the workplace.. And that's where I found my true calling – which is to protect the legal rights of employees and to fight for compensation when those rights are violated.
