LaQunya Baker is member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, and before opening her firm, Baker Simpson Law LLC, she practiced in the First Judicial District as a Deputy State Public Defender. As a public defender, LaQunya handled hundreds of criminal cases to include misdemeanor, traffic, and felony cases. In addition to general district and county court criminal cases, LaQunya was also a defense attorney in the Jefferson County Specialty Courts, which include, Recovery Court, Veteran’s Court, and Mental Health Court.
