Hassan Zavareei earned his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 1995, where he graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif.. Mr. Zavareei successfully obtained court approval of the settlement, and supervised the administration of the multi-million dollar settlement fund. Mr. Zavareei is currently litigating several class action lawsuits on behalf of injured consumers.As part of his environmental and administrative law practice, Mr. Zavareei has obtained significant victories for his municipal and Indian Tribe clients in challenges to federal rulemakings, and negotiated complex settlements in CERCLA cases on behalf of Fortune 500 clients. Mr. Zavareei also led a team of attorneys representing a state agency that was investigated by the United States Attorney’s Office for alleged violations of environmental criminal laws. At the conclusion of the investigation, the U.S. Attorney exonerated Mr. Zavareei’s client.Mr. Zavareei is admitted to the State Bar of California, the Bar of the District of Columbia, the Bar of the State of Maryland, the District Court of the District of Columbia, and the Circuit Courts of the District of Columbia, the Ninth Circuit, and the Fifth Circuit.
