I hold a Category 4/5 USCA Road Cycling License and as of 2008 was ranked 67th in the state in my age group. I am a Member of both CycleWorks [a/k/a North Ga. Cycling Association] and Dunwoody Cycling and frequently attend various Group Rides around the state.. I am also an avid tennis player [USTA 4.0], alpine skier, backpacker [I have hiked all sections of the GA AT, the Benton MacKaye Trail and many other trails in the SE] and competitive pool (billiards) player, and have won numerous tournaments in the latter over the years. I own two Pugs - my only "children" - and am a vocal proponent of Animal Rights and Environmental/Wilderness Protection [to name just a few], sometimes becoming involved with various causes related thereto.
