Sharonda Roberson is the founding Partner of Roberson Law, LLC. She began her career by interning at the Public Defender’s Office in Kane County. Sharonda is currently the Assistant District Justice, for the West Suburban Alumni Chapter of the law fraternity.. Sharonda is also a community activist and one of the founders of The People’s Coalition. The People’s Coalition is an organization founded to fight the causes and struggles of Black and Brown individuals of Aurora, IL. This organization was born in the wake of the murder of George Floyd in 2020. Sharonda also is the creator of the Aurora demand letter that received over 2,000 signatures, and was sent to Aurora officials. As a result of her demand letter the City of Aurora is in the process of obtaining body cameras for police officers, and a civilian review board is being established.. Sharonda became an Attorney to help people during the worst times of their lives. She is extremely passionate about her work, and advocates for her clients until their goals are reached.
