I represent litigants in domestic violence situations, obtaining and defending against orders of protection. I am a friend to the LGBTQ community and supportive of all versions of family dynamics that require legal services in the domestic relations legal system.. I am certified to serve as a mediator and also have had training in the collaborative practice. I am also experienced in the areas of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. I have been published in the ISBA Family law newsletter and the Illinois Bar Journal on a variety of subjects relevant to litigants and practitioners in the domestic relations field. I have tried and settled cases in Cook, Lake and DuPage counties.

I am proud to be a board member for CASA and am excited to be involved with various other charitable organizations in the area including Big Brothers Big Sisters for six years. I also served as a board member for McHenry County Housing Authority from 2011 to 2017 and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce and was the founding President of the Young Professionals which has produced many leaders in the community since its inception in 2006. I currently am on the Board of Governors for the McHenry County Bar Association and the finance committee for the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce as well.
