Brett Keller Duncan, a lifelong resident of Hammond, Louisiana, is an accomplished attorney and an elected member of the Tangipahoa Parish School Board. His journey began after graduating from Hammond High, when he joined the Louisiana Army National Guard, serving for ten years with the 205th Engineer Battalion and participating in "Operation Enduring Freedom" in Afghanistan. Brett graduated cum laude from Southeastern Louisiana University, where he was actively involved in student leadership and received the Lieu Award for academic excellence. He later earned his Juris Doctor from LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center and established a law practice dedicated to helping families navigate legal challenges. In addition to his private practice, Brett has represented over 1,000 abused and neglected children. He is an active community volunteer and is married to Regina M. Lamb, with whom he has two children, Kendall and Robert.
