Robert was born in Doha, Qatar, the youngest of an adventurous couple’s four children. His family moved to South Orange, New Jersey when Robert was six years old, and he lived there through high school. He attended Notre Dame on a Navy ROTC scholarship and was commissioned as an Ensign after graduation in 2005. Robert was blessed to meet fellow Navy ROTC Midshipman and the love of his life, Maria, at Notre Dame, and they were married in 2009. Robert and Maria are part of a generation of Navy service—Robert’s two brothers and his sister, as well as Maria’s older brother all served as Naval Officers. After tours onboard USS BOXER (LHD 4) and USS THACH (FFG 43), Robert attended law school in his wife’s hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He then joined the Navy JAG Corps and completed two challenging tours as a First Tour Judge Advocate at Naval Air Station Pensacola and as the Command Judge Advocate for Naval Medical Center San Diego. He now resides in Poolesville, Maryland, with Maria and two beautiful young daughters of whom he is terribly proud.. Robert has known Brian since they were roommates freshman year in Morrissey Hall. Robert and Brian were also fortunate to study abroad together in Dublin during their junior year. Robert is ecstatic to join Brian and Nathan and leverage his experience to expand their client-centric, value-driven practice.

I obtained my undergraduate degree from Salisbury State College, Maryland, magna cum laude, in 1984 and my J.D. (law degree) in 1988 from the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland.. I am a member of the Maryland Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. I am a member of the Talbot County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and a past member of the Caroline County Bar Association. I am a past President of the Talbot County Bar Association. I have also served as a Trustee to the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers, Inc. when that organization was in existence.. My wife and I live in Oaklands, a community located just outside of Easton, Maryland, where I served for a number of years as the President of Oaklands Association, Inc. I am currently serving as a Board Member for Oaklands Association, Inc. In my spare time I enjoy working out at the YMCA of the Chesapeake as well as hunting, fishing, boating, and recreational vehicle camping with friends and family.
