Hello! I'm Lauren J. Caisse, Esq. My training to become a Personal Family Lawyer® helps me serve you with a heart-based methodology that gives you clarity and peace of mind toward a life worth living and a legacy worth leaving.. I grew up in Foxborough, Massachusetts and I still reside locally. I have two daughers and a son. My youngest will be graduating high school and heading off to college in the Fall. I enjoy seeing all of my children develop and grow into young adults. As for me, I love to read – books, magazines if I am short on time, and research reading. I love being outdoors and I have recently taken up gardening. I spend a great deal of time on the soccer field watching my son play. I was also very involved in my church in North Attleboro.. I spent a large part of my career as In-House Counsel for Department of Defense contractors. After 10 years of traveling internationally, I decided it was time to make the switch to private practice.. Why do I do Estate Planning and Probate Administration? First, I am a planner and I want to help others plan for the “what ifs”. Second, I enjoy helping people in my local community with their personal and business legal affairs. I enjoy meeting with my clients and working with them to develop a meaningful estate plan, to manage the probate administration process for them, to draft a contract or lease that will protect their interests, or to set up the business entity that is best for them. My goals include educating clients along the way; making sure they leave my office with a good understanding of the matter at hand; and gettng to know my clients in order to facilitate a long-term attorney-client relationship.. As one client told me, everyone has a story. Let me help you with yours!

I help strong families through trying times – to protect your choices, preserve your relationships and pass down the things that matter. I take care of the legal matters so you can take care of your family.. I know that the best attorney-client relationships are collaborations, and that the greatest partnerships (professional or otherwise) are built on communication. For this reason, communication and collaboration are the foundations of each area of my practice, and are central to your experience when we work together. The value I provide my clients comes not only from my years of legal experience, but also from my understanding that every family has a myriad of intertwined goals—personal and professional, financial and familial—that should not be separated, but rather approached holistically.. When working with blended families or families with elderly parents, I clearly establish who my client is while recognizing that each member has a crucial role to play. I understand that the encouragement and preservation of strong family ties is essential when creating a legacy strong enough to last for generations.. As we work together toward your goals my role is to draft the legal documents you need to memorialize your wishes, provide analysis of laws and regulations to help you determine a course of action, give compassionate guidance in carrying out the wishes of a loved one (via Power of Attorney, Trust or Will administration, or Healthcare Directives), be your legal representation during proceedings for a protected person, and provide legal assistance in planning for and paying for long term care expenses.. My practice focuses on planning for those people who understand that the time to act is now, even if you have put it off in the past. My guidance and legal expertise are the perfect complement to those clients who know their goals and recognize the need for legal assistance as they work toward those goals.. Education and Accomplishments. My education, experience, and ties to the community can help you accomplish your goals. I graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, and have a degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis. Prior to practicing law, I worked at Tufts Health Plan for over seven years, in the Appeals and Grievances Department. I live in Hingham and am a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the South Shore Coalition of Workers with the Elderly. I am a co-founder of the Women Attorneys Network of the South Shore () and enjoy cooking, doing yoga and hiking.

I grew up in a small Vermont town, where my dad is the police chief and my mom works for the local school district. I have dreamed of being an attorney since the 6th grade. My two wonderful parents have always supported and motivated me to achieve my goals and dreams; I credit much of my success in life to them.. I moved to Massachusetts to attend Stonehill College, where I obtained a degree in Criminology with a minor in Sociology in 2016. After college, I attended Massachusetts School of Law where I graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 2019. That same year, I passed the Bar Exam and was admitted to practice in Massachusetts.. I look forward to a career of helping people through what is often the most difficult and challenging time in their lives. I believe that lawyers are in a unique position to get people through these times by making sure that clients understand the process and are treated with care and respect. I look forward to – and appreciate – the opportunity to be that person for my clients.. Outside of work, I enjoy taking weekend trips to visit family and spending time with my two precious dogs, Tazer and Mayli.
