Nadia also has an impressive track record in Florida, where she served as a Senior Attorney with the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) in its Contracts and Rulemaking Division and as a Deputy Chief Attorney with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) in its Real Estate Division. At DFS, she drafted and negotiated state contracts, while at DBPR, she managed real estate license compliance enforcement and resolved disputes related to broker-held earnest money deposits.. Nadia earned her Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School, where she participated in the Environmental Law Clinic and authored an Amicus Brief to the U.S. Supreme Court related to the Asian carp invasive species in the Great Lakes. While in law school, Nadia served as a litigation law clerk with a mid-sized firm that handled real estate and mortgage related matters and gained a deep understanding of real estate and real estate finance contract issues.. After becoming licensed to practice, Nadia served that firm as a loan mediation specialist before tapping her own entrepreneurial spirit by launching her own practice. In private practice, Nadia represented and counseled individuals and small businesses in business, finance, and real estate contract negotiations and disputes.
