Monica has represented clients in all types of immigration cases for over a decade.  She began as an Accredited Representative assisting clients with adjustment of status, family petitions, Naturalizations and U Visa and VAWA petitions.  Today she continues representing immigrant populations as an attorney and has expanded her practice to also include removal defense and other areas of immigration law.. Monica received her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.  During law school she served as the President and Vice President for the Association of Public Interest Law, raising funds and providing resources for students interested in serving in the public interest legal sector.  She also received Clinical Honors and the Dean's Award for significant contribution to the law school community.  She spent a summer of her law school career in Guatemala volunteering with community based organizations focused on indigenous rights.. Monica is married and the couple has three children.  Together they enjoy traveling, spending time in the outdoors and exploring the Southwest.
