Emily graduated from Penn State Dickinson Law, located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in May of 2021 with a certificate in Cyberlaw, Data Privacy and Information Security. Emily was awarded the Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Clinic Student Award for her work with the Dickinson Law Children’s Advocacy Clinic in her second and third years. During her final year of law school, Emily worked part-time as a Law Clerk for a local matrimonial law firm, and part-time as Student Contractor for the Future of Privacy Forum’s Youth and Education Privacy program, and completed an independent study in which she drafted legislation to protect the privacy rights of foster children in institutional living facilities within Pennsylvania.. Emily is a 2015 magna cum laude graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a double minor in Creative Writing and Business Management, and completed research in Marketing that she presented around the world and eventually published. Emily is an active alum of her a cappella group, the Skidmore Accents, and most recently performed in the Alumni Reunion Concert in the spring of 2022.. In her spare time, Emily enjoys hot power yoga, hiking, thrifting, skiing, rollerblading, and looking for vintage records to add to her collection.
