Practice Areas: Criminal Defense
Ben grew up in Pinehurst. Upon graduation from law school in 1988 Ben began living in and practicing law in Fayetteville. Ben began his career as an associate attorney with a local firm and later as a partner in the firm of Lockamy and LeFever. During those early years as an attorney Ben gained experience in many areas of law including Criminal Defense, Family Law, Personal injury and civil litigation. Ben realized he had strong talents in the area of criminal defense and representation on traffic matters and began to focus on those areas of the law where he could most effectively help those in need of these services. In 1998 Ben opened the law office of Benjamin E. LeFever, Attorney at Law, and has since that time focused his practice on Criminal Law, Traffic and Driving While Impaired. Ben has over 28 years of Court room experience in Cumberland County and is admitted to practice in both State and Federal Court.. Ben has strong ties to our military community and interest in military history. He is Vice-President of the Allied vs. Axis Historical Foundation, Inc. an organization which is dedicated to honor military veterans. As part of this effort Ben restores antique military vehicles and equipment and provides historical displays at patriotic holidays and other events. Ben is also a lifetime aviation enthusiast and has his pilots license.
