I advise and represent individuals in high-stakes matters involving financial disputes, including asset valuation, property division, monetary support claims, and white-collar investigations. I am a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an organization that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law. I am also a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers.. My job is to give the best advice that I can to each client during the most stressful time of their life. I work hard to continue my education and training so I can provide superior guidance and information and help my clients make important decisions about their legal and financial situations. After law school, I completed SMU's year-long certified financial planner program to enhance my knowledge of investments, retirement, insurance, taxation, and estate planning and better serve my clients.. The statistics say that most cases settle by agreement. Most criminal cases end with a plea deal, and most lawsuits and divorces are resolved by agreement. But not all cases settle. I go to court and try the cases that don't settle. People seek me out when they have been falsely accused or when they are being bullied or pressured to take a bad settlement. Many times I am hired just weeks or even days before trial. My background is in trial work, and I am board-certified as a family law trial lawyer by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.. I spend a lot of time in seminars and other programs with plaintiff's attorneys and criminal defense lawyers. I have worked with psychologists and coaches across the United States to improve my advocacy skills. Following my training and my experience in family law, civil, and criminal cases, I have developed a process for handling cases that incorporates best practices from those fields. My process is designed to optimize the client's opportunities for favorable settlement while simultaneously preparing for trial. The process works. I have obtained favorable outcomes for my clients in negotiation, at trial, and on appeal.. My law firm has offices in Tulsa, Sapulpa, and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Amy Hayes is a small-town girl that grew up in the South watching SEC football and losing her flip-flops in her gransparent's garden. Amy graduated cum laude with a BA from Auburn University in 2000 and JD from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2003. Amy's career has been spent between a couple of larger firms in Oklahoma City, working as a federal government attorney, or chasing an oil rig. Additionally, she has worked as a commercial negotiatior for a fortune 500 Oil and Gas company, which gave her extensive training on negotiations and real world business practices that is not taught in a regular law school curriculum.. Hayes Legal Solutions, PLLC was created as a result of COVID bringing attention to the fact the traditional business models for law firms in Oklahoma is broken. Prior to COVID, it was very rare that you could get an attorney to have a virtual zoom meeting with you or set up a consultation outside of the 9:00 to 5:00 office hours. Covid has taught us Oklahomans want access to legal services on their schedule instead of the attorneys.. Additionally, we have learned that potential clients need and want to find "true value" in the services they receive from an attorney. Now, clients care less about who has the fanciest office and more about who can provide the service they need without breaking the bank or making them use all their vacation time. We have listened to the feedback from clients and created a law firm that gives clients what they want, when they want it.

I became a lawyer to be a problem solver, and I work with clients to navigate the legal obstacles and hurdles in both their personal and professional lives. My passion is using my legal skills to help your business become a success. You have goals for your business and I’m here to help you realize those goals. As part of our Real Estate and Landlord/Tenant practices, I work with real estate investors and lenders by providing foreclosures, evictions, quiet titles, and help with other adversarial matters. With small businesses of every type, I’m here to help from initial organization to more complex issues as your business expands and faces new challenges.. In addition to real estate, business, and commercial law matters, I’m excited to help families grow and prepare for the future, including adoption and surrogacy issues. I’m here to help individuals and families with premarital agreements, antenuptial agreements, estate planning, and contingency planning for childcare.. My mission is to help my community navigate the procedural difficulties of modern life by helping them protect and grow their families, businesses, and resources. A failure to plan is a plan to fail. My practice is informed by the belief that the special relationship between a lawyer and client is similar to a close friendship where one friend, the lawyer, listens with an open mind and helps the other friend, the client, achieve their goals.. Outside of the courtroom, Ashley is passionate about promoting child literacy. Ashley is also admitted to practice in the state of Alabama.
