I provide legal support to our corporate segments as well as advice and counsel to senior management. My corporate functions include public company reporting, securities offerings, strategic joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, cross-border operations, and commercial operations. I am delighted to be a member of legal team at Greenbrier.. Professional Background. After graduating from the University of Chicago Law School in 1994, I joined a Soros- affiliated entity in Europe where was employed in several capacities related to public investment and project development. While in Europe, I also served for a time as an assistant professor of law at the Central European University.. In 1999,  I joined the New York office of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, a leading Canadian firm I came to know and respect while working in Europe. In 2007, when my wife and I started a family, we moved out West where I grew up. After a period at Stoel Rives, and K&L Gates, I joined the legal team at Greenbrier.. Professional Activities.
