Karen Marvel began her legal career in 1987. Karen also serves the legal community and the public through her work with the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas (3d Edtion Checklist Committee member and drafter), the Family Law Section of the San Antonio Bar Association (past president and board member) and the San Antonio Family Lawyer's Association for board certified family law attorneys (past president and board member).  She is a life member of the Texas Family Law Foundation - an nonprofit dedicated to improving family law for all citizens of Texas.. Outside the office, Karen is a wife and mother of young adults, including one with special needs. She works with numerous school and neighborhood groups.
