I was an oil/gas landman for a couple of decades. Being a landman exposed me to a plethora of conflicts between corporations, landowners, employees (as a manager) and criminal actors. I look for resolution outside trial when possible but embrace going to trial optimistically because the "truth will set you free," and many people are falsely accused.
