I focus on probate and estate planning almost exclusively because I am passionate about helping people navigate and avoid unnecessary grief and hardship. I take great pride in drafting specially tailored Wills, Trusts, and other estate planning documents to protect my clients and their loves ones. I have represented clients who live in Florida, Oregon, Washington, New York, Rhode Island, Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, Colorado, Arizona, and even out of the country (though this always involves a decedent or ward who resided in South Texas). When it comes to hiring an attorney for probate matters, where the decedent lived (not where the client lives) is usually the determining factor.. I am originally from Chicago, Illinois, but have also lived in Ohio, North Carolina, California, and South Dakota. I enjoy spending time with my family, travel and volunteering in the San Antonio community. I decided to make San Antonio my permanent home in 2010 and I do not miss icy roads or below-zero temperatures one bit.. I am on the board of directors for Crime Stoppers of San Antonio and Animal Defense League of Texas. I have always enjoyed hands-on volunteering in my community as well. I plan to expand my efforts to some of the incredible charities benefiting children and their families that serve this part of the state.

Marcie Trevino Ripper practices wills and estate planning law. She will help you plan so that your family and loved ones are taken care of after your passing. Prior to opening Bell Ripper PLLC, Marcie served as Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff’s Chief of Staff. Marcie has a JD and MPA from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of Texas, Austin.  Marcie is active within the community and serves on the Bexar County Child Welfare Board and 2017 March for Babies Executive Leadership Committee. Marcie and her husband Phillip have been together since 8th grade and their most recent adventure together has been tackling the world of parenting as they welcomed their son, Lincoln Thomas, in April 2016.
