Before prosecuting, Ms. Abdullah completed two judicial clerkships at the Washington Court of Appeals, Division II. Ms. Abdullah assisted Judge Joel Penoyer and Judge J. Robin Hunt by assisting in drafting opinions, preparing bench memoranda, and conducting legal research.. Ms. Abdullah graduated cum laude from the Univeristy of Richmond with a Juris Doctor degree in 2006. While in law school, Ms. Abdullah was a Jean Tarpley Scholar. She served on the Moot Court and Trial Advocacy Boards. Ms. Abdullah was a Carrico Moot Court Competition quarterfinalist and a National Trial Competition regional semifinalist.
