I received my Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a minor in Law, Societies, and Justice, from the University of Washington.  I then pursued my legal education at the Seattle University School of Law.. I have been published multiple times, including an article entitled Product Liability and Food in Washington State: What Constitutes Manufacturing?, published in the the Seattle University Law Review.  Additionally, I have engaged in advocacy work, helping to author a 2009 petition to the USDA that resulted in a change to federal law, enacting stricter safety standards for ground beef production..
