I was elected by my peers as President of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), a 2,300 member plaintiff's lawyer association, for 2009-2010, after serving on the WSTLA/WSAJ Board for 15 years.  As a WSAJ Board Member, I have served as chair of Legislative Affairs, Membership, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and on the Finance and Executive Committees of the Association.  I was also very involved in WSTLA/WSAJ's efforts to defeat both I-330 and R-67, via which big medicine/the insurance industry attempted to take away the rights of injured patients, individuals and families when they are injured by the wrongful or negligent acts of others.  I have been assisting injured people and their families now for more than 20 years. I love a fight for the underdog. I also love to read. Thankfully, I ended up in law school and got a job working as a deputy prosecutor trying cases; it was wonderful and eye opening and rewarding. I then had the privilege of working with State Supreme Court Justice JM Johnson for stint before returning to the prosecutor's office and trying more cases. I transitioned into a private practice where I focused on representing people, not corporations or governments, but real people who need a real lawyer.. My clients haver been a range of folks, some of whom needed my skill and advocacy as a trial lawyer, and many of whom needed guidance to a swift and favorable resolution. Overtime, with only so many hours in the day, my practice has become limited to representing injured people and their surviving families after negligent or worse acts cause catastrophic loss. Often this is in the context of insurance bad faith claims, as well as product liability and terrible trucking crashes.. ---. Graduating Cum Laude from Seattle University School of Law, Brian enjoyed studying the application of the law. In his third year of law school, Brian externed for Washington State Supreme Court Justice James M. Johnson.  He was also an Article Editor for the Seattle Journal for Social Justice, one of Seattle University's Law Journals. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Greg Marshall grew up outside Portland, Oregon, and graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, in 1985.  He attended Seattle University School of Law (formerly University of Puget Sound School of Law), where he served as a Research & Technical Editor for the Law Review and published an article, In re Schuoler:  The Right to Refuse Schock Treatment, before graduating in the top quarter of his class in 1988.. After clerking for the late Honorable Edward P. Reed at Division II of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Greg entered private practice as an associate attorney with an insurance defense firm in Seattle.  Within a year, he left the firm and opened his own solo practice. With the exception of a two-year partnership, he has continued with his solo practice up to today.. Jeff began practicing law at the largest law firm in New Mexico, mostly representing corporations and the State of New Mexico in business disputes and civil rights law suits. He then moved to California, where he practiced with several small Law Firms, mostly litigating business disputes between corporations as well as personal injury cases.  After successfully representing an insurance company client against another insurance company in a multimillion dollar contract claim, his client hired Jeff to review its claim manual and create an in house legal department. The President of that insurance company called Jeff “our plaintiff’s attorney.”. Jeff and his family moved to Washington in 1996. He joined and eventually took over managing a small Law Firm in Snohomish County, representing some of the largest insurance companies in the country.  In 2010, Jeff changed his practice when he joined The Kadish Twersky Law Firm and now only represents injured people.   As a personal injury attorney in Everett, WA, Jeff uses the insight he gained from working with insurance companies.
