My practice mostly focuses on personal injury cases - think car crashes, an injury due to a badly designed sidewalk or road, or a bicycle crash. I also advise clients on tenant side landlord/tenant issues and other general civil litigation matters. I beleive that good advocacy is about a listening ear, good relationships, and a good balance between standing up for rights and a focus on desired outcomes. I try to work things out amicably, but I will always fight for my clients when I need to.. I'm a native of Bellingham. Prior to more scholarly pursuits, I worked at ski areas and bike shops around the Northwest and Alaska. I'm an avid mountain biker, skier, and outdoorsman, so I appreciate how difficult it is for clients when their lives have been affected by injury. I strive to help client’s deal with injury and provide low-stress representation to guide them through the process of both financial and physical recovery.
