Firm: Green River Law, PLLC
Practice Areas: Workers Compensation
I have years of experience fighting for injured workers in the L&I system, including litigating cases at the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals and in Washington Courts. My advocacy for Claimants has recovered millions of dollars in settlements, Board awards, and expected pension payouts.. I founded Green River Law, PLLC with the central idea that injured workers need advocates. Every worker pays into Washington's worker's compensation system and that system should support workers when they need it the most.

I graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane in 1997. I started working as a Deputy Prosecutor in the Yakima County Prosecutor’s office that fall. As a Deputy Prosecutor, I prosecuted cases from Driving Under the Influence to serious felony sexual assaults. Approximately six years later my family moved to Bellingham and I continued working as a Deputy Prosecutor for the Whatcom County Prosecutor’s Office. In 2006, I opened my own office and have practiced criminal defense ever since. In 2016, I got the opportunity to come to work at Maxwell & Webb, PLLC. I currently represent injured workers, personal injury clients and continue to represent people accused of criminal offenses. In my career I have accumulated extensive trial experience, having tried over 100 cases to juries and judges, including lengthy murder, manslaughter and robbery criminal trials.. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending my time with my wife and kids. I enjoy reading, music, sports, volunteering for Meals On Wheels, Toys For Tots and the Bellingham Community Meal Program and traveling.

Practice Areas: Workers Compensation
I am a dedicated and tenacious attorney for the injured. I work with the rest of the Blue Water team to help injured Longshoremen, boatbuilders and contractors under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and its extensions, such as the Defense Base Act (DBA). I was pulled into the law (after 7 years working in the banking and technology fields) by these hardworking but injured clients. I never looked back.. I am a person with many interests and I love to figure out how all things work. I love researching science and computers. Believe it or not, I love math and figuring out how facts and statistics can mean many different things. On the creative side, I enjoy tatting lace, coloring and reading as many books as I can. My family always joked that I would even read the dictionary.. I am also very close with my large extended family. Although both sides of my family are from Washington State, I have branches of my family all throughout the United States. I am beginning a project to record all the family stories from original sources.
