My practice focuses on estate planning and probate, helping clients navigate through will and trust planning, probate court, powers of attorney, and everything in between.  As much as possible, I help my clients and their families avoid conflicts through comprehensive estate planning, probate-avoidance techniques, powers of attorney, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. I believe that preventative measures are always better than trying to fix a problem after it happens.  That's not always possible, though.  For situations where a conflict cannot be avoided, my approach is to limit emotionally draining and expensive legal battles to the extent possible while still fighting for you to make sure your interests are protected.. Before opening my own practice, I worked at several other firms, including a small family-owned office, a medium-sized multi-attorney general practice firm, and high-end firm on the top floor of an office building in downtown Milwaukee.  I learned a lot from each of these experiences and was motivated by the successes of those I worked with to venture out and design a business that matched my own vision.. I received my law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2010.  I focused my legal education on estate planning, dispute resolution, mediation, and restorative justice. While at Marquette, I founded and served as the President of the Restorative Justice Society. I also served on the boards of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Society and the Client Skills Board.  I was inducted into the Pro Bono Society with high honors for outstanding volunteer involvement with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program and the Milwaukee Foreclosure Mediation Program. I also mediated small claims disputes at the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.. I received my undergraduate degree from Marquette University in 2005 with a triple major in English Composition, Philosophy, and Comparative Theology. I live in Wauwatosa with my wife and three children.

My approach to practicing law has always been about the client as a person. I try my hardest to give my clients the same advice I would give to my family. I believe humor and being down to earth are two very important traits as an advisor to people. Many people I see are dealing with a recent death and I try as best as I can to make this process one that is as stress free as possible.. Outside of law I am an avid car collector and enjoy scale model building and gardening. My hosta gardens are something I find to be very relaxing and rewarding. Gary J. Krawczyk was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and attended Don Bosco High School. Upon completion of high school, Attorney Krawczyk enrolled at Marquette University and graduated in 1972 and a B.S. in business. He continued his education at Marquette University Law School, he obtained his Juris Doctoris degree, graduating in 1975. He was then admitted to practice law in the state of Wisconsin.. Mr. Krawczyk began practicing law in 1975 with his father, Attorney Edmund J. Krawczyk and Attorney Michael J. Duginski. He became a partner in the firm Krawczyk & Duginski, S.C. in 1980, and the Managing Partner in 1992. Through the years he has focused his practice in the areas of Family Law, Probate, Estate Planning, Personal Injury, and Real Estate.. Amy was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor's degree from UW-Whitewater and a Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University. Over the last number of years Amy found her niche and focused her practice on helping families and children. Amy previously ran her own successful solo practice in Ohio largely working in the areas of criminal and juvenile law (CHIPS and Juvenile Delinquency), and frequently served as a guardian ad litem in both juvenile and family court where she represented the children's best interests. She later joined a small general practice firm where she practiced in a variety of areas including estate planning, family, criminal and juvenile delinquency, CHIPS, and guardian ad litem cases. After moving back to the area and being admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 2018, she joined Horizons Law Group, LLC where she practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, family, and continues to serve as a guardian ad litem.
