Vergari, in August of 1979,  after having served as a Law Intern in the District Attorney’s Office while in law school. Mr. Messina served in the Local Criminal Courts Bureau, Frauds Bureau and the Appeals and Motions Bureau. He resigned his appointment in February of 1984 to open his firm for the general practice of law in Somers, New York where he has resided all his life.. Mr. Messina was elected a Town Justice of the Town of Somers in November of 1987, and served as Town Justice of the Town of Somers until December 31, 1999. The Town Justice is a part-time position.
