For more than 42 years I have concentrated in municipal and real property law, as well as commercial litigation and trusts and estates. Among the public clients I presently serve are the Village of Kings Point and the Water Authority of Great Neck North.  My municipal experience includes counsel to various boards of appeals and planning boards, an architectural review committee, and a landmarks preservation commission.  Over those years I have also served as special counsel to real estate developers and to other municipalities within and including, the County of Nassau and the Town of North Hempstead. My municipal and real property work include litigation and appeals.  I also deal in commercial litigation and lease and contract work in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, and estate planning.. I pride myself in being attentive to my clients, as a true "counselor" at law, providing thoughtful advice, as well as well thought-out documents and representation to try to accomplish their long term goals.. I was graduated from Hofstra University in 1967 and received my juris doctorate degree from St. John’s University in 1971. I served in the U.S. Army as a chaplain's assitant from 1969 to 1971, and from 1971 through 1973, I served as a confidential law clerk to the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department in Rochester, New York. I am a member of the New York State Municipal Law Committee and have lectured on zoning.. I have been active with Temple Beth-El of Great Neck since 1973.  I served as President from 1987 through 1991 and was a member of its Board of Trustees for 40 years. I was a co-founder of AMJID (American Muslims and Jews in Dialogue) which, I believe, was the first of its kind in the United States, providing an active dialogue between Muslims and Jews in Nassau County for 13 years.  Since 1999 my wife and I have been avid patrons of the American Ballet Theatre and attend almost all of their performances in New York City.
