After high school, she attended Texas Tech University where she graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration.. After college, Ms. Hoffman was accepted to Baylor Law School. This rigorous program is legendary.. After graduating from Baylor Law, Ms. Hoffman clerked at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims for two years. She initially worked as a plaintiff’s attorney in New Mexico, working on breast implant cases. Then, she went into a career in government service, first handling cases involving children with special needs in education, training attorneys to deal with issues of child support, and finally working in administrative law involving employment, discrimination, and revocation of licenses. Ms. Hoffman also taught legal writing and drafting at George Mason School of Law.. Ms. Hoffman is a single parent who loves taking art classes with her daughter and leading her Girl Scout troop.
