Mr. Patel began his legal career representing immigrants in deportation proceedings as well as assisting those applying for permanent residence, citizenship, visas and work permits. Following his practice in immigration, Mr. Patel sought to broaden his legal acumen, working for a civil ligation defense firm that represented major insurance companies involved in contractual disputes and later representing several hospitals in breach of contract claims against auto insurers.. In his private firm he took on a wide array of cases in both state and federal court, including; contract disputes, shareholder derivative actions, civil theft, fraud & conversion, real estate litigation, immigration, and personal injury. He has also invested firm resources in growing its transactional practice to provide guidance to clients in need of a will or trust, or assistance with corporate formation. Mr. Patel has also assisted clients with exceptional detail in the area of real estate transactions.. Mr. Patel has received multiple accolades for his oral advocacy and client relation skills, including being named to the National Order of Barrister. He also takes great pride in serving the South Florida community, previously assisting the Legal Aid Society of Broward County, Immigration Division and currently enrolled as Pro Bono Counsel with Dade Legal Aid.
