Mr. Squire joined Aeon Law with over twenty five years of intellectual property prosecution and litigation experience. His patent prosecution spans a wide array of technologies within the mechanical, electromechanical, computer, and medical device arts. His litigation experience includes disputes involving outdoor sporting goods, firearms, paper processing equipment, programmable logic controls, digital cameras, cardioplegic solutions, and thermal resistant avionics enclosures. As general counsel for an invention capital management company, Mr. Squire refined his expertise in strategic portfolio assessment and analysis for executing patent enforcement and technology licensing campaigns.. Prior to pursuing his legal career, Mr. Squire served as an aeromedical evacuation officer in the United States Army, culminating his aviation service as a Master Army Aviator. He also served as a research aviator and engineer at one of the Army's premier Research and Development laboratories where he supported an array of research initiatives investigating novel aircraft instrument displays, tactile aircraft instrumentation systems, aircrew injury prevention, aviator performance and related flight safety measures.. Concurrent with his legal career, Mr. Squire served in the U.S. Army Reserve, where he served in various command and staff leadership positions, retiring as a Colonel. Throughout his Army Reserve career, he was responsible for the planning, integration, and execution of Health Service Support and Force Health Protection mission sets in support of U.S. National Defense Strategy.. Mr. Squire is a Distinguished Military Graduate from Marquette University's College of Engineering.. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law, Champaign, Illinois.
