Mr. Bloomquist has served as an Assistant District Attorney for Caldwell County in Lockhart, Texas, an Assistant County Attorney for Guadalupe County in Seguin, Texas, as an Assistant District Attorney for Hays County in San Marcos, Texas as well as the 1st Assistant District Attorney for Guadalupe, Gonzales and Lavaca Counties.. Mr. Bloomquist quickly built a reputation as a tough no nonsense trial attorney. He tried multiple high profile child murder and sexual assaults, and gang related cases and became a sought after speaker on these issues. He has done extensive work on cases involving intoxicated drivers and was nationally recognized as an "Outstanding Traffic Safety Prosecutor" for that work. He has broad experience handling all types of criminal cases.
