I love estate planning because unlike other areas of law, it is preventative law and stops legal messes from happening. As an attorney, when I give a great deal of effort to prevent probate, I get a great deal of personal satisfaction and my clients get a great deal of reward. Other areas of law - client is in prison, client is divorced, client is upset. Estate planning (if done properly and in a timely manner) - smooth sailing! That's my job.
