Originally from Colorado, Cory completed her undergraduate and post graduate degrees at Utah State University before moving onto the University of Utah for law school. She enjoys using her education and experience to help others in her community. Cory has practiced in numerous areas, including real estate, construction defect, constitutional law, family law, and more. More recently, she has enjoyed narrowing her practice areas to estate planning, personal injury, and public defense. I love estate planning because unlike other areas of law, it is preventative law and stops legal messes from happening. As an attorney, when I give a great deal of effort to prevent probate, I get a great deal of personal satisfaction and my clients get a great deal of reward. Other areas of law - client is in prison, client is divorced, client is upset. Estate planning (if done properly and in a timely manner) - smooth sailing! That's my job.
