I am a Past President of the North Fort Myers Rotary Club, Co-Founder and past Club Director of USA South Volleyball Club of Naples/Fort Myers, general counsel for USA Volleyball – Florida Region, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Southwest Florida Symphony. I am also an Adjunct Professor at The University of St. Francis in Graduate Studies in Health Services Administration.. I played professional basketball with Club Olympique Beauvais in France, and was later employed as a Claims Adjuster for Allstate Insurance Company for four years. I am in the Personal Injury Department and his practice emphasizes Personal Injury, Wrongful Death and Insurance Claims litigation as a Partner in the law firm, Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A. I am a Board Certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the Florida Bar, having completed over fifty jury trials. I've served on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers from 1999-2005, now known as the Florida Justice Association. I am a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and helped to organize and served as the first President of the Southwest Florida Trial Lawyers Association. I am designated as an “AV” rated Civil Trial Attorney by the rating service Martindale-Hubbell and have been listed as one of Florida’s “Super Lawyers.”
