Practicing law for over ten years,Rebecca L. Crumrinehas practiced exclusively in the area of family law for over eight years.  She teaches Domestic Relations atJohnMarshallLawSchool, where she has been an adjunct professor since 2006.  Becca sits on the Executive Committee of the State Bar of Georgia Family Law Section, currently serving as the Secretary.  She is a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association and she is a founding member of the DeKalb Bar Association, currently serving as the Chair.  She is a member of Georgia Association of Woman Lawyers and theLeadershipAcademyof 2012; a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court – Barrister, and previously sat on  the State ofGeorgia Electronic Child Support Worksheet Taskforce.. In 2012, Law & Politics and Atlanta Magazine recognized Becca as a “Super Lawyer” in the area of Family Law, as well asGeorgia’s “Top 50 Women Lawyers.” Georgia Trend Magazine recognized Becca as “Legal Elite” in the area of Family Law in 2012.  The Judicial Nominating Committee recommended Becca to Governor Deal as a shortlist candidate for a seat on the DeKalb County Superior Court.  Previous to Becca’s recognition as a “Super Lawyer,” Law & Politics and Atlanta Magazine “Rising Star” in the area of Family Law in all years the recognition was bestowed from 2007.. Becca received her undergraduate degree from the University of the South in 1991, her MEd from theUniversityofGeorgiain 1994, and her JD degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2001.   She served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Dudley Bowen, Chief Judge of the Southern District of Georgia..
