An avid bicyclist, skier, and sailor - D.J. loves all that Colorado has to offer.. D.J. Banovitz was born in Chicago, Illinois. At age 7 on a family ski trip, he determined to make Colorado his home. A graduate of Colorado State University in 1990, he's  lived all over our great state. Graduating from  the John Marshall Law School, Chicago, he concentrated his studies on advanced trial advocacy and tort (injury) law, graduating in 1994.
