Kevin M. Baucom was born in Santa Anna, Texas. His father had just taken a job at the Amoco Refinery in Texas City in June 1966. Shortly after his birth, his entire family moved to the Galveston County area. He is the Founding Partner of Baucom Law, focusing on defending employees injured on the job in the Texas and Gulf Coast region. Kevin has extensive experience handling Defense Base Act claims. He has never lost a case that he tried before an Administrative Law Judge in the U.S. Department of Labor.Kevin is admitted to practice in all Texas state and Southern and Northern District of Texas - Federal Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a member of the Texas State Bar Association. Kevin is certified in Workers’ Compensation by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has tried more than 300 contested case hearings in every field office in Texas and has attended more than 1,200 benefit review conferences throughout the state. He has appeared in state and federal courts for hearings, jury and bench trials all over the state of Texas.Kevin’s first five years out of law school, he represented victims of medical malpractice claims.
