Howard also pioneered the use of forensic psychological and neurolinguistic principles to persuade judges and jurors in trial.. As a leader of the trial bar, Howard served as president of The National Trial Lawyers, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Belli Society and the Aletheia Institute, and five years on AAJ’s Executive Committee.
