Reno, et al., resulting in a landmark settlement pertaining to the administration of Federal surety bonds. - Representation of numerous clients against the federal government challenging the federal governments’ administrative procedures with respect to bond breach procedures. - Representing surety insurers on all aspects of very large bond claims including construction bonds, workers compensation deposit bonds and self-insurance bonds. - Representing insurance companies in significant disciplinary and administrative matters involving the California Department of Insurance, as well as regulatory matters before the legislature. Mr. Nye also has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate and business transactions. In the transactional area, Mr. Nye's experience includes the representation of both buyers and sellers in the sale of a variety of businesses, all aspects of business formation and capitalization, as well as the preparation of all types of general business agreements..
