Anne Laurie has successfully defended employers at both the trial and appellate levels. In 2015 and 2016, she won defense verdicts for Mobile’s largest industrial employer in multiple race/gender discrimination cases tried to a jury. In a separate case alleging overtime violations, she persuaded the district court that the employer had properly classified a large group of exempt employees and won summary judgment for the employer. She has successfully argued appeals before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, including a matter of first impression that secured a summary judgment victory for the employer.
