While in College Station, Ms. Taylor received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (B.B.A. 2007), and was an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.. Moving to Houston in 2008, Mr. Taylor began her legal studies at South Texas College of Law (J.D. 2011), and completed an internship with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office – one of the largest prosecuting offices in the United States.. A little girl’s dream became a young woman’s passion for advocacy and the courtroom, as Ms. Taylor began her legal career proudly representing the State of Texas as a prosecutor.. Throughout years of public service, Ms. Taylor became disillusioned after witnessing firsthand the abuses of discretion by those who wear the proverbial “white hat.” These experiences led her to leave the badge behind, rededicating her career to fighting for the citizen accused, while seeking accountability for those that abuse the privilege of power.. In 2022, Ms. Taylor joined Trey Porter Law to add her dynamic skills and deep experience to the firm’s established foundation of delivering uncompromising results and client-first service.
