Omar Nur is the founder of Nur Law and a proud Washington native, deeply committed to serving his local community. He began his legal career representing indigent clients at the public defenders’ office and various legal clinics, where he handled a diverse array of cases, from juvenile offenses to serious felonies, as well as family law, wills and trusts, and real estate matters. After founding Nur Law, Omar shifted his focus to personal injury, criminal defense, and traffic law, while also advocating for clients in hearings concerning probation violations, record sealing, and gun rights restoration. Outside of his professional endeavors, Omar cherishes time spent with his family, including his wife and daughter. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, such as bicycling, jogging, hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, surfing, and scuba diving. Omar's dedication to his clients and community has been recognized through several honors, including the Super Lawyers Rising Star award from 2016 to 2019 and the New Lawyer Award from the Washington State Association for Justice in 2016.
