Nick was born in Richmond, VA, where his father practiced law. He now resides in Tacoma, where he has lived and worked since May of 2006 after completing his first year of law school. Nick graduated from O'Dea High School in Seattle, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Policy Studies in 2003 from Indiana University. He then attended Seattle University School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2008, and was admitted to the State Bar in October of that year..
