The city (and I'm sure this goes for most cities) doesn't make it easy to get permits for the most basic of basic work, and even then I'm clueless most of the time in how to fill out the required paperwork. Can they be a bit more user-friendly instead of assuming everyone can understand legal jargon?
Looks like my junior high from the 60's. Doesn't blend architecturally with anything in the vicinity. Expensive to build. Looks cheap. The city officials don't seem to have any concept of aesthetics or preservation of the natural beauty of the area. In that regard, I guess it does fit in.
