Ms. Novotny-Prettiman earned her B.A. in 1997 from Seton Hill College (summa cum laude) and her law degree from Duquesne University in 2000.. Ms. Novotny-Prettiman has a unique legal background. She was a legal secretary before obtaining her paralegal certification from St. Vincent College in 1989, and she worked in the capacity of legal assistant until her admission into law school.. While attending law school, Ms. Novotny-Prettiman worked as a law clerk at QuatriniRaffertyGalloway.. Ms. Novotny-Prettiman began practicing with the firm after her admission to the practice of law and is currently active in the areas of plaintiff personal injury litigation, school law, and general civil litigation.. A lifelong resident of Unity Township, Ms. Novotny-Prettiman currently resides in the Latrobe-Greensburg area with her husband, Daniel.
